Job summary

SCRG APAC seeks a Global Supply Manager (Mechanicals) to advise clients on end-to-end commercial relationships with global mechanical suppliers. You will source, negotiate, and scale precision parts, tooling, and sub-assemblies, bridging hardware engineering and supplier bases while driving cost targets and supplier performance.

You will collaborate with OEMs and contract manufacturers across regions, lead strategic sourcing efforts, and guide NPI activities from DFM alignment to mass production

Qualifications

• 5+ years in global supply management or strategic sourcing.
• Deep technical and commercial knowledge of precision mechanical manufacturing.
• Surface treatments and coatings experience.
• Proven complex negotiations and contract sourcing.
• Experience with MSAs, SOWs, NDAs and multi-million spend.
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develop commodity strategy and roadmaps for mechanical programs.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard global suppliers; manage RFx processes.
• Negotiate pricing, MSAs, SOWs, and supplier terms to drive cost reductions.
• Lead NPI ESIs to align part design with cost targets and capabilities.
• Manage tooling investments, capacity, and risk across suppliers.
• Define supplier performance metrics and conduct regular business reviews.
• Support financial planning with pricing forecasts and tooling investments.
• Act as liaison between client OEMs and contract manufacturers to ensure smooth transitions from EVT/DVT to MP.
