Job summary

Hygiena seeks a Global Product Manager for Instruments to own the vision and roadmap across instrumentation platforms, accessories, firmware, and onboard software. You will translate market needs into MRDs/PRDs, drive portfolio optimization, and guide cross-functional teams through development to launch, with a pay strategy aligned to global markets.

We value a strong background in product management, strategic planning, and the ability to partner with R&D, manufacturing, regulatory, and sales

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a scientific field; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience including 3+ years in product management or related roles.

Responsibilities

• Own the Vision & Roadmap: develop multi-year global product roadmap for instrumentation platforms, accessories, firmware, and onboard software.
• Author MRDs and PRDs with market opportunities, sizing, and financial impact.
• Lead portfolio optimization, gaps, extensions, rationalization, and end-of-life decisions.
• Develop 1–3 year tactical plans and contribute to longer-term strategic plans.
• Serve as commercial lead in product commercialization and cross-functional teams from concept to launch.
• Define GTM strategy, positioning, packaging, and pricing for new products and major releases.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Microbiology, Food Science, Biology, Biochemistry or a related scientific field
