Job summary

Amgen seeks a BAI Director, Global Insights, Rare Disease, remote, to lead the generation of strategic insights for the Rare Disease portfolio, including TEPEZZA, UPLIZNA, KRYSTEXXA and pipeline assets. You will manage a team, partner with Marketing, Value & Access, Forecasting and more to shape franchise strategy and decision-making with rigorous analytics.

The role demands strong leadership, exceptional communication, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Doctorate with 4+ years in market research, analytics, competitive intelligence, sales and/or marketing operations.
• Masters with 8+ years in market research, analytics, competitive intelligence, sales and/or marketing operations.
• Bachelor's with 10+ years in market research, analytics, competitive intelligence, sales and/or marketing operations.
• 4+ years' experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams synthesizing information from market research, competitive intelligence, secondary data and advisory boards to develop strategic insights.
• Integrate insights to develop business cases and facilitate workshops across lifecycle and governance.
• Plan and conduct primary market research with agencies across product lifecycles to enable decisions.
• Lead ad hoc analytics to inform strategic decisions.
• Communicate insights to senior leadership and advocate for data-driven decisions.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to define objectives, budgets, and work plans.
