Job summary

Amgen seeks a Global Insights Director for Rare Disease to lead a team delivering strategic commercial insights across TEPEZZA, UPLIZNA, KRYSTEXXA, and pipeline assets. You will integrate internal data, secondary analytics, and primary market research to shape franchise strategy and decision making.

You will partner with Marketing, Value & Access, Forecasting, and other functions, communicating insights to senior leaders and aligning cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree with 4+ years of market research/analytics/CI/sales/marketing operations experience.
• OR Master’s degree with 8+ years of market research, analytics, competitive intelligence, sales and/or marketing operations experience.
• OR Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of market research, analytics, competitive intelligence, sales and/or marketing operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams synthesizing information from diverse sources to develop strategic insights.
• Integrate insights to develop business cases and facilitate workshops for lifecycle decisions.
• Plan and conduct primary market research with agencies for assets across product lifecycle.
• Lead ad hoc strategic analytics to inform decisions.
• Communicate insights clearly to senior leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Partner with commercial leadership to define objectives, budgets, and work plans.
• Manage vendor relationships and drive capability innovation.
• Develop direct reports while leading select projects.
