Amgen is seeking a Global Insights Director for the Rare Disease portfolio (TEPEZZA, UPLIZNA, KRYSTEXXA) to drive insights that shape strategic decisions. You’ll manage a team and partner with Marketing, Value & Access, Forecasting, and more to deliver data-driven recommendations.

This role emphasizes leadership, advanced analytics, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies for senior executives, with remote collaboration across global teams where applicable.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 4 years of market research, analytics, competitive intelligence, sales and/or marketing operations experience
• Master’s degree and 8 years of market research, analytics, competitive intelligence, sales and/or marketing operations experience
• Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of market research, analytics, competitive intelligence, sales and/or marketing operations experience
• At least 4 years’ experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing resources

Responsabilités

• Lead teams synthesizing information from market research, CI, secondary data and advisory boards to develop strategic insights
• Develop business cases and facilitate workshops to support lifecycle management and strategic decisions
• Plan and conduct primary market research with a research agency across product lifecycle stages
• Lead ad hoc strategic secondary analytics to inform decisions
• Communicate insights to senior leadership and stakeholders to influence strategy
• Partner with commercial leadership to define objectives, budgets, and work plans
• Identify and manage relationships with vendors and drive capability improvements
• Develop direct reports and lead select projects as needed
• Ensure projects comply with Amgen SOPs and meet quality, timeliness, and budget requirements
