REMOTE GLOBAL FORWARDING SALES EXECUTIVE

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Global Forwarding Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in cross-border logistics, NVOCC, LCL, FCL, Customs Brokerage, Compliance, Tariffs, and the broader freight forwarding industry. The role involves driving sales growth, cultivating client relationships, and delivering customized solutions in the complex global logistics market.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales & Business Development:
    • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in global freight forwarding.
    • Build and maintain relationships with logistics managers, supply chain professionals, and procurement teams.
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends.
    • Implement sales strategies to increase market share in cross-border logistics and NVOCC services.
  2. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Understand client needs related to international freight forwarding, including LCL, FCL, cross-border shipping, and customs brokerage.
    • Provide tailored, cost-efficient solutions while ensuring compliance.
    • Manage existing client portfolios by offering value-added services and exceeding expectations.
  3. Knowledge & Expertise:
    • Deep understanding of NVOCC, LCL, FCL, customs brokerage, and trade compliance.
    • Stay updated on customs regulations, tariffs, and trade issues.
    • Guide clients on documentation, customs clearance, and tariff classifications.
    • Advise on optimizing supply chain strategies for cost reduction and efficiency.
  4. Compliance & Risk Management:
    • Ensure all activities comply with trade regulations and company policies.
    • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risks.
    • Maintain accurate transaction and communication records.
  5. Reporting & Analytics:
    • Monitor sales performance, pipeline, and client satisfaction.
    • Develop sales forecasts and track revenue to meet or exceed targets.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience & Background:
    • Proven sales record in logistics or supply chain industries.
    • Knowledge of cross-border logistics, NVOCC, LCL, FCL, customs, and trade compliance.
    • Familiarity with freight forwarding software is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
    • Problem-solving skills and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
    • Organized with attention to detail and multitasking capabilities.
    • Independent and team-oriented work ethic.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
  • Language Skills:
    • Proficiency in English required; additional languages are a plus.
