Job summary

Self Help Africa is seeking a WorldWise Global Schools Education Officer for the East and Southeast regions. The role focuses on supporting post‑primary settings to engage with Global Citizenship Education through the WWGS Global Passport framework and delivering CPD for teachers.

The EO will monitor progress, compile data for Irish Aid, and collaborate with diverse schools and WWGS team members to strengthen GCE practice across the post‑primary curriculum and school life.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years working in Global Citizenship Education.
• Strong IT proficiency.
• Experience with post-primary education sector.
• Excellent written, oral and presentation skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide GCE capacity building and support to ~70 post-primary settings.
• Design and deliver CPD for teachers and staff.
• Contribute to annual reporting and data collection for Irish Aid.
• Maintain engagement data using the WWGS Salesforce database.
• Support events, webinars and resources related to the Global Passport.
