You will analyze complex fact patterns, determine indemnity and coverage positions, oversee litigation with defense counsel, and prepare comprehensive reports for senior claim leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years handling general liability claims
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Proven ability to analyze coverage and liability issues

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations and analyze and evaluate the information learned
• Make coverage determinations and communicate written positions to insureds and required parties
• Set reserves and monitor for adjustments within authority
• Present cases to management for reserve authority
• Develop and implement resolution strategies for high-quality outcomes
• Proactively manage litigation and counsel, including budgeting and bill review
• Attend trials and mediations as necessary
• Prepare reports and deliver presentations to senior claim leadership
• Work with business partners to evaluate claim trends
• Address inquiries from agents and policyholders with superior service
