Job summary

OCH Technologies, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer/Systems Integrator to join a government project. The role blends software development with infrastructure support, focusing on robust GIS web applications and system integration in a high‑reliability environment.

Responsibilities span design, integration, performance tuning, and modernization, with collaboration across infrastructure teams and a focus on security clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Five+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with JavaScript, Python, Nginx, and the Esri Suite.
• Experience with Docker containerization.
• Experience in Agile software development and version control processes.
• Experience with APIs, databases, and system integration.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret level security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate software solutions across components for GIS Web Applications.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure high availability and scalability.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and troubleshoot integration issues.
• Develop system design documents and software architecture diagrams.
• Refactor and modernize code as part of modernization efforts.
• Support system upgrades and validate compatibility with existing infrastructure.
• Manage configuration control, release management, and automated pipelines.
• Contribute to containerized application design and orchestration.
