Job summary

Integral Federal, Inc. is seeking a Sr GIS Web Engineer to design, develop, and optimize GIS-driven web mapping capabilities for VA’s OIT, PDS, BAM, and MBS. You will deliver secure IT solutions, integrate GIS services, ETL pipelines, and visualization layers across VA systems.

You will work with ESRI ArcGIS, Leaflet/OpenLayers, and ArcGIS JS API in an Agile environment, ensuring data accuracy and supporting automated testing. Public Trust clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT-related field; 7–10 years’ experience.
• Experience developing web mapping applications and geospatial visualizations.
• Experience integrating GIS services, APIs, ETL pipelines, and authoritative geospatial data sources.
• Experience with enterprise GIS, mapping libraries, and spatial databases.
• Experience in Agile environments with CI and automated testing.
• Public Trust clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize GIS-driven web mapping capabilities.
• Manage GIS data models, ETL pipelines, and geospatial integrations.
• Integrate GIS data pipelines, APIs, and visualization layers into web apps.
• Build high-quality GIS-enabled UI/UX components using modern web tech.
• Ensure data accuracy across VA systems.
