Job summary

A state government agency is seeking a GIS Systems Administrator to provide remote support for enterprise GIS applications. Responsibilities include monitoring applications, installing ArcGIS Desktops, and developing system jobs using ActiveBatch. The ideal candidate will have experience with Esri System Monitor and a strong background in GIS support. This position follows standard GDOT practices and includes the possibility of contract renewal. No travel expenses for relocation will be reimbursed.

Qualifications

• Experience with Esri System Monitor for GIS applications.
• Knowledge of ArcGIS and GIS patch updates.
• Ability to develop and configure system jobs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support enterprise GIS applications using Esri System Monitor.
• Install/configure ArcGIS Desktops in virtual environments.
• Configure Esri Roads and Highways for end-user support.
• Develop system jobs with ActiveBatch job scheduling software.
• Update system support documentation and knowledge base.
