Job summary

NV5 is seeking GIS Specialists at various career levels to support natural resource management, environmental planning, conservation, and land management initiatives across the Western United States. Work with multidisciplinary teams delivering geospatial solutions for federal clients in a remote capacity.

Responsibilities range by experience and include creating maps, dashboards, and GIS products; configuring ArcGIS desktop, web, and mobile applications; and supporting data collection and field

Qualifications

• GIS and geospatial analysis experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in geography or natural resource management; master’s desirable.
• Experience with Esri ArcGIS suite (Pro/Enterprise/Online) and mobile GIS.
• GIS data management, editing, QC, and cartographic production.
• Web GIS configuration and deployment.
• Documentation, reporting, and workflow development.
• Experience in environmental, natural resource, or land-management programs.
• Eligibility to obtain Federal DOI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support GIS projects for natural resource, environmental, land-management, and conservation programs.
• Develop, maintain, and analyze geospatial datasets and databases.
• Create maps, dashboards, web apps, and other GIS products for clients and teams.
• Configure and support ArcGIS desktop, web, and mobile apps.
• Assist with GIS workflows, data collection, and field support.
• Produce technical documentation, user guides, and workflows.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in hybrid/remote work environment.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Contribute to process improvements and innovative geospatial solutions.
• Senior level: provide technical leadership, project oversight, mentoring, and coordination.
