Job summary

Silverthorne Advisory Group LLC is seeking an experienced GIS Senior Analyst with over 10 years of technical expertise to support Air Force geospatial and audit remediation initiatives. This role bridges advanced data analytics, database management, and field validation with Air Force Real Property requirements.

The ideal candidate will identify data gaps, perform enterprise-scale remediation, and translate spatial findings into business intelligence using modern analytics platforms, including

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in GIS, Geography, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in enterprise GIS suites.
• Strong knowledge of CAD/as-built drawings, aerial imagery interpretation, and survey integration.
• Experience diagnosing root-cause data discrepancies and implementing remediation plans.
• Experience using field collection equipment (GNSS/GPS, mobile LiDAR).
• Experience building data visualizations, dashboards using Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Identify, investigate, and remediate complex spatial and attribute data gaps across Air Force geospatial datasets.
• Evaluate geometry, segmentation, length, and classification discrepancies between GIS layers and property management systems.
• Execute advanced spatial QA/QC routines to detect missing, obsolete, or fragmented data.
• Lead virtual technical assistance sessions with base-level Geospatial Integration Offices and Real Property personnel.
• Conduct field validation and site visits when desk data is insufficient.
• Establish validation boundaries for underground utilities and linear assets.
• Translate findings into documentation, corrective action reports, and executive summaries.
• Develop interactive dashboards and reporting views to track data quality improvements.
