Job summary

Redhorse Corporation seeks a Junior GIS Analyst to serve as CIP Helpdesk and SDSFIE Specialist on a long-term ARNG data-support engagement. This work-from-home position requires staying local to the Washington, D.C.

area to attend periodic meetings. You will collaborate with an integrated team to develop and maintain geospatial data layers for real property and environmental assets across ARNG States, ensuring data integrity per DoD GIS standards and supporting real-time situational awareness

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of GIS experience.
• Working knowledge of Python for automating workflows and scripts.
• Knowledge of GIS concepts, cartography, and digital spatial data formats.
• Hands-on experience with ArcGIS Pro, SQL, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Enterprise GIS, Portal for ArcGIS, and ArcGIS Dashboards.
• U.S. Citizenship eligible for federal background check to support DoD systems.

Responsibilities

• Data Aggregation & QA/QC workflows for ARNG geospatial data.
• QA/QC analyses and discrepancy reporting using Python tools.
• Modify CIP tools and scripts to improve validation and reporting.
• Support and update GLAD application per program specs.
• Provide Helpdesk support and resolve CIP data submission issues.
• Support SDSFIE migration and user training for stakeholders.
