Job summary

NV5 is seeking a GIS Developer to work with its federal government client in Colorado. The role focuses on enhancing the land use planning decisions database and transforming it into a more effective web mapping application, with data retrieval via your IT infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Enterprise GIS and BI experience required.
• Power BI Administration and Development experience.
• ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online familiarity.
• Metadata and data governance knowledge.
• Cloud integration with Azure services.
• Database optimization and data architecture skills.
• Information security and compliance awareness.
• Strong technical documentation and training abilities.
• Stakeholder engagement and customer support experience.
• Geospatial analysis and cartographic production capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fast data retrieval via current IT infrastructure.
• Create interactive Power BI reports and dashboards.

• Improve data retrieval speeds across ArcGIS Server, SDE, and Portal.
