Job summary

System One is seeking a GIS Analyst for a 12-month contract position based primarily in a remote setting with mandatory onsite support in Denver, CO. The role focuses on validating GIS and database data for wildfire mitigation projects and coordinating with project managers and engineers to ensure data accuracy before deployment of field devices.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of GIS and analytics experience, strong data validation abilities, and proficiency with Access and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and validate data, processing data requests, and ensuring accurate submission to downstream departments.
• Maintain existing data templates and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve data issues.
• Work independently on assigned datasets, with collaboration via Teams or email.
• The position supports a team of approximately 7–8 people, involving project managers, GIS specialists, engineers and contractors/vendors.
• Balance independent and collaborative work to ensure data accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
