Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Geotechnical Engineer to join a remote-first team delivering foundation and earthwork insights for construction projects across multiple locations. You will conduct subsurface investigations, perform geotechnical analyses, prepare detailed reports, and collaborate with engineers and project managers from your home office.

A Master's in Geotechnical Engineering, 5+ years of experience, and a PE or eligible status are required.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in geotechnical investigations and foundation design.
Proficiency in geotechnical software (GeoStudio, Plaxis) and understanding of structural analysis.
Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, engineering geology, and construction materials.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration or eligibility.

Responsibilities

Conduct subsurface investigations and analyze soil borings and lab tests.
Perform geotechnical analyses for foundation design and slope stability.
Prepare comprehensive geotechnical reports with site development recommendations.
