Job summary

Edge Systems seeks a specialized Geosteering Operations Expert to support Geosteering for client drilling programs in Pinehurst, TX. You will perform pre-job modeling, real-time interpretation, and end-of-well analyses to optimize borehole placement and meet client specifications.

The role requires collaboration with client teams, strong communication in English, and the ability to work in a high‑pressure environment on long shifts. Houston area preferred; some remote work may be available.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Geology, Geosciences or Engineering.
• REQUIRED one year of wellsite geology and/or mud logging experience.
• Proficiency with StarSteer, SES, or equivalent software.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning, execution, and post-well analysis for horizontal wellGeosteering services.
• Model offset data to assess Geosteering feasibility within reservoirs.
• Monitor real-time data and make directional decisions for borehole placement.
• Interact with client geology, geophysics, drilling, and completions teams.
• Deliver high-quality, timely reports and technical presentations.
