Job summary

Edge Finance is seeking an Operations Geosteering Specialist to provide technical expert support for Geosteering services in horizontal well projects. This role involves pre-job modeling, on-site execution, and end-of-well analysis with clear recommendations for clients.

You will work closely with client teams, interpret real-time data, and ensure borehole placement meets specifications while delivering high-quality deliverables under pressure.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Geology, Geosciences or Engineering; MS preferred
• Legal right to work in US
• Excellent oral and written communication; fluent English
• Highly organized with ability to multi-task
• Experience with geosteering tools and real-time operations

Responsibilities

• Provide technical planning and execution for horizontal wells with Geosteering services
• Model offset data to assess Geosteering feasibility
• Monitor real-time data and make directional decisions for borehole placement
• Collaborate with client geology, geophysics, drilling and completions teams
• Deliver high-quality, timely deliverables to clients
