Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 12+ years of specialized GIS/Project Manager experience
• Active PMP certification

Responsibilities

• Provide programmatic support to the DHS GMO and guide the management of large-scale enterprise geospatial data and applications.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams (5–10 people) or act as a small team lead (3–4 people).
• Apply industry-standard methodologies (e.g., Agile Scrum, Waterfall) to manage work and resources.
• Ensure timely communication with the COR and respond to technical requests within 24 hours.
• Suggest strategic improvements to processes, deliverables, and outcomes for DHS programs.
