Job summary

Providence is seeking a Genetic Counselor to deliver high-quality genetic counseling via telemedicine across the organization and support system genetics programs in collaboration with Genomics leadership. The role acts as a flexible clinical resource for regions with limited genetics capacity, enabling program launches and integration of Genomics into practice.

It also involves education, quality initiatives, and research activities.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Genetic Counseling/Clinical Genetics is required.
• State licensure is required where applicable at hire.
• National certification as a Genetic Counselor is required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient genetic counseling and risk assessment.
• Support implementation and growth of system genetics programs through telemedicine.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences, education, quality improvement, and research.
