Responsibilities

• Educate patients about counseling and testing options.
• Coordinate genetic counseling visits and walk-in clinic.
• Document personal and family history with supervision.
• Assist with clinic flow and sample collection.
• Escort patients to lab for blood draw or saliva collection.
• Prepare paperwork for laboratory testing.
• Draw and update pedigrees using software and patient history forms.
• Enter data into tracking devices.
• Support providers including remote contractors.
• Encourage continuing education for staff.
