Job summary

USP is seeking a General Manager, Dietary Supplement Verification, a remote, senior leadership role overseeing the DSVP multi‑million dollar global business serving manufacturers, retailers, and stakeholders. You will lead a transformation, relaunch, and growth, with a strong external‑facing orientation and collaboration with Verification Operations and Marketing to deliver market expansion and premium standards.

Travel is required, and you must reside in one of the approved states.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership/management experience.
• 10+ years experience in dietary supplements or related industries, certification, or quality programs.
• Understanding of manufacturing and quality systems.
• Strong external-facing leadership track record.

Responsibilities

• Leads an existing commercial team, including two sales/business development resources and a dedicated marketing resource.
• Drives customer engagement, pipeline development, and relaunch execution through these team members.
• Leverages internal strategy/transformation support to advance cross-functional initiatives and pricing evolution.
• Partners with Verification Operations and Marketing leadership across a matrixed environment.
• Scale team structure and capabilities over time in line with growth and investment plans.
• Strengthen consumer trust in a complex dietary supplement marketplace.
• Expand access to trusted verification for consumers.
• Maintain USP’s status as a premium, independent standard.
• Support public health through improved product transparency.
• Lead external positioning and relaunch of DSVP.
• Drive pricing, value proposition, and competitiveness.
• Serve as primary external representative with customers and industry.
• Partner with Verification Operations on program evolution aligned to market needs.
• Collaborate with Industry Programs and Marketing leadership.
• Execute growth strategy across global customer base.
• Deliver outcomes aligned with investment program.
