Compass Group USA is seeking a REMOTE QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER with 6+ years in QA/food safety to lead the advancement of QA programs across facilities accessed remotely. Travel up to 50% will be required for supplier validation, audits, and site support.

The role emphasizes USDA, FDA compliance, and maintaining rigorous allergen and recall controls. The ideal candidate will have HACCP/PCQI credentials, strong data and writing skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in product

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of QA/food safety manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of HACCP, FSMA, and GMPs.
• HACCP and PCQI certifications preferred.
• Strong data management, reporting, and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain QA programs to meet USDA, FDA, and customer requirements.
• Oversee Food Safety Plan development and preventive controls.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety standards (USDA, FDA, FSMA).
• Lead allergen controls, recall programs, and traceability efforts.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and respond to safety concerns.
