Sedgwick is seeking a Remote Liability Claims Examiner to handle high-exposure General Liability cases for a dedicated client. This role requires experience with serious injuries, complex coverage, and litigation, and offers autonomy and a flexible schedule.

You will develop strategies, partner with clients and legal counsel, and drive claims toward timely resolution while leveraging Sedgwick's global network and development opportunities.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Five (5) years of General liability claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Review reports and inquiries; seek legal opinions; provide timely resolution.
• Handle high-end cases with serious injuries and/or complex coverage scenarios.
• Respond to court orders; create action plans; manage examinations.
• Identify cases for settlements/redemptions.
• Gather additional information and coordinate with client designees.
• Request legal/private investigations; coordinate with local counsel; monitor performance.
• Respond to plaintiff's counsel, union, employee, or client requests.
• Identify issues and formulate defense strategy.
• Establish/adjust accrued liability and approve administrative expenses.
• Identify subrogation opportunities and manage process.
• Attend mediations, trials, arbitrations or hearings as needed.
• Work with partners to affect early return-to-work.
