Job summary

Donyati, a premier business and technology consulting firm, seeks a General Counsel to lead its legal operations on a fully remote basis across the United States. The role requires a JD from an accredited law school, active U.S.

bar license, and 10+ years in corporate or tech-focused practice. You will draft and negotiate MSAs/SOWs/NDAs, advise on DPAs, vendor contracts, and governance risk to enable growth.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 10+ years of corporate or technology-focused legal practice.
• Strong understanding of contract law, commercial terms, risk management, and corporate governance compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating MSAs, SOWs, and NDAs.
• Providing guidance on DPAs and vendor risk assessments with IT.
• Reviewing and managing subcontractor, independent contractor, and vendor agreements.
• Identifying and mitigating legal, financial, and operational risks across contracts.
• Advising on employment-related matters and guiding internal stakeholders with tight deadlines.
