Liftoff's Security Team is seeking an experienced security engineer to own application security for GenAI, Creative GenAI, and emerging businesses. You will work across the stack—infrastructure, web, mobile—partnering with engineers to embed security into products and scale defenses.

This role emphasizes hands-on coding, threat modeling, and security tooling. You will contribute to on-call rotations, incident response, and security maturity across Liftoff's platforms and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in security or software engineering.
• Ability to prioritize security efforts using risk-based approach.
• Write production-quality code for security tools and automation.

Responsibilities

• Establish secure SDLC standards and integrate security into engineering design.
• Perform design and code reviews, threat modeling, and security assessments for GenAI and related areas.
• Triage security issues and coordinate remediation with engineering teams.
• Build maintainable security tools and automation; contribute to incidents and postmortems.
