IBM Consulting seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer - AI to work directly with clients to transform complex business challenges into production-grade AI solutions. You will combine software engineering, data science, GenAI, and advanced analytics to rapidly prototype, deploy, and scale solutions that deliver measurable business value.

Your role involves identifying opportunities with business teams, building end-to-end GenAI apps on LangGraph and CrewAI, and leveraging hyperscaler cloud AI

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field is required.
• Experience delivering production AI solutions across AI/ML stack and cloud platforms.
• Strong Python/SQL skills and hands-on GenAI development experience.
• Experience building GenAI applications with LLMs, RAG, and multi-step workflows.
• Experience with API design (REST/FastAPI) and containerization.
• Excellent communication with clients and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Solve client challenges by partnering with business and technical teams to identify AI use cases and success metrics.
• Build and deploy end-to-end GenAI, RAG, and agentic AI applications using LangGraph, CrewAI, and hyperscaler platforms (AWS, Google, Azure).
• Engineer agentic and GenAI systems: LLM-powered agents, tool use, orchestration, prompts, security, and evaluation.
• Data engineering and integrations: prepare data and connect AI solutions with enterprise systems and APIs.
• Scale and operationalize AI: apply MLOps/LLMOps, testing, monitoring, and governance for production readiness.
• Drive business impact: present insights, support client adoption, and create reusable assets.
