IBM Consulting is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer - AI to transform client challenges into production-ready AI solutions. You will combine software engineering, data science, GenAI, agentic AI, and advanced analytics to prototype, deploy, and scale applications that deliver measurable business value.

Work with clients across industries from the US, focusing on hybrid cloud and AI journeys, ensuring guardrails, observability, and production readiness while driving adoption and reusable assets

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML, data science, or software engineering.
• Strong Python and SQL skills plus GenAI/agentic AI experience.
• Hands-on GenAI apps with LLMs, RAG, prompts, and evaluation.
• Experience with LangChain/LangGraph, CrewAI, and cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with ML/data processing tools and cloud APIs.
• Production deployment experience using Git, Docker, Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Identify AI use cases with clients and establish success metrics.
• Build end-to-end GenAI/RAG/agentic AI apps and deploy them.
• Design LLM-powered agents with tool use, orchestration, and testing.
• Prepare structured/unstructured data and integrate AI with enterprise systems.
• Apply MLOps/LLMOps, monitoring, and responsible AI practices.
• Present insights and drive client adoption of AI solutions.
