Job summary

LSAC seeks an Engineer Lead with Generative AI experience to guide a cross-functional team in building AI-powered features and services. You will champion best practices, enterprise architecture, and stakeholder alignment while delivering reliable backend systems in a remote setting.

You will own the adoption of GitHub Copilot and expand capabilities into LLMs, RAG, agentic workflows, and responsible AI. You’ll partner with the SDM, data engineers, and product teams to translate AI innovations

Qualifications

5-10 years of full-stack software engineering experience.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Master's degree preferred.
Azure certifications (AZ-204, AZ-400, AZ-305) preferred.
Azure AI certifications – AI-102 preferred.
Coursework or experience in ML fundamentals, NLP, or applied AI/ML preferred.
Experience driving Gen-AI adoption across engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Design and implement Generative AI features using Azure OpenAI Service and OpenAI APIs.
Lead prompt engineering and evaluate AI outputs for quality and safety.
Architect Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines with vector databases.
Scale adoption of Gen-AI across the organization with structured enablement programs.
Coach and mentor engineers on Gen-AI practices and AI tooling.
Ensure responsible AI practices, bias evaluation, and audit logging.
