Cognizant is seeking a Gen AI Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise AI solutions using LLMs, agentic AI frameworks, and modern web technologies. You will shape architecture, set standards, mentor engineers, and drive production-ready AI capabilities.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and delivering large-scale distributed systems.
• Proven track record in production-grade AI/LLM-powered solutions.
• Deep expertise with generative AI, prompts, and AI orchestration patterns.
• Hands-on experience with agent development frameworks such as LangGraph/LangChain/AutoGen.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop enterprise-scale Generative AI applications using LLMs, RAG, data, and orchestration.
• Design Agentic AI solutions to support complex reasoning, memory, tool integration, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Build scalable workflow orchestration with Temporal or similar tech.
• Define AI platform architectures including model routing, prompts, observability, and deployment.
• Establish evaluation frameworks and measure business outcomes.
• Lead end-to-end product delivery from architecture through deployment and support.
• Drive engineering best practices for scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Mentor engineers and foster innovation and continuous learning.
