Job summary

Tech Mirrors seeks a GCP DevOps Infra SCE Cloud Consultant for a 12-month engagement. The role is remote, partnering with client teams to design and deploy cloud-native infrastructure across compute, storage, databases, and networking to meet business objectives.

You will propose architectures, manage migrations, optimize cloud solutions, and address adoption blockers. Strong GCP, Kubernetes, security, and customer-facing delivery experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience in technical client services and cloud or infrastructure projects.
• Experience designing or implementing cloud-based architectures and infrastructure solutions.
• Experience with networking, compute, security, and cloud technologies in virtualized environments.
• Experience with Cloud platforms (GCP) and customer-facing delivery is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Propose solution architectures and manage deployment of cloud compute, storage, databases, and networking.
• Collaborate with customers to design cloud architectures, migrations, and optimization plans.
• Advocate for customer needs to overcome adoption blockers and drive feature development.
• Work with internal teams to align on best practices and lessons learned across projects.
• Lead customer-facing migrations, including assessment, planning, execution, and operations.
• Ensure adherence to IT security practices including IAM, encryption, and key management.

Role: GCP Devops Infra SCE Cloud Consultant

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Remote

Responsibilities:

Propose solution architectures and manage the deployment of cloud based compute, storage, database, & networking solutions according to customer requirements and implementation best practices.
Work with customers to design and implement Cloud based technical architectures, migration approaches, and application optimizations that enable business objectives.
Advocate for customer needs in order to overcome adoption blockers and drive new feature development based on your field experience.
Propose solution architectures and manage the deployment of cloud-based distributed, virtualized infrastructure solutions according to complex customer requirements and implementation best practices.
Work with internal delivery / project teams to align on best practices, and lessons learned in the project.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
7 years of experience in technical client services.
Experience in the design and/or implementation of Cloud based technical architectures, and infrastructure solutions.
Experience in as many of the following as possible: networking, compute infrastructure (e.g., servers, databases, fi rewalls, load balancers) and architecting, developing or maintaining secure cloud solutions in virtualized environments.
Experience in one or more of the following: Networking, DevOps, Security, Compute, Storage, Hadoop, Kubernetes, or SRE.

Preferred qualifications

Experience with Cloud Platform (GCP)
Cloud certification. – Cloud Professional Certification – (Architect, Networking, Machine Learning as examples)
Customer facing delivery experience, including service discovery, assessment, designing architectures, and cloud operations.
Experience in customer-facing migration, including service discovery, assessment, planning, execution, and operations.
Familiarity with standard IT security practices such as identity and access management, data protection, encryption, certificate and key management
Demonstrated excellent communication, written, presentation and problem solving
Experience in project management and technical solution delivery
