Job summary

DCM Infotech Limited seeks a Technical Architect – Cloud (GCP) with 7-8 years of relevant experience to design and implement cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform. The candidate will lead architectural discussions, ensure scalable, secure deployments and advise on migration strategies across on-prem and cloud environments.

Responsibilities include defining scope, sizing workloads, and delivering best-fit technical solutions, while collaborating with teams and leveraging partner technologies

Qualifications

• At least 3–4-year experience in architecting solution leveraging GCP IaaS services & GCP products & Services with an overall 12+ years of experience of hard-core infrastructure consulting.
• GCP Certification - Associate Cloud Engineer/Professional Cloud Architect/ Professional Cloud Developer. In depth knowledge of key GCP services – GCE, GKE, GAE, GCS, Cloud SQL, VPC, Resource Manager, Stack Driver, Cloud CDN, Cloud IAM, G-Suite (good to have) Infrastructure as Code etc. Good exposure to Google Big Data & ML platform – like BigTable, BigQuer, Dataproc/Dataflow/ML API’s etc. (good to have)
• In-depth knowledge of design, implementation, engineering, automation and DevOps implementation, service operation and service improvement initiatives on premise/other cloud providers to GCP cloud migration using cloud migration tools like Velostrata/Sure line/Cloud Endure etc.
• In depth knowledge of GCP SKD/API tools like gcloud, gutils, kubeclt etc.
• Your primary role would be to provide the best fit architectural solutions for one or more projects.
• You would also provide technological consultation and assist in defining scope and sizing of work
• You would implement solutions, create technology differentiation, and leverage partner technologies.
• Additionally, you would participate in competency development with the objective of ensuring the best-fit and high-quality technical solutions.
• You would be a key contributor in creating thought leadership within the area of technology specialization and in compliance with guidelines, policies and norms of TCS.
• Knowledge of architectural design patterns, performance tuning, database and functional designs Hands-on experience in Service Oriented Architecture
• Ability to lead solution development and delivery for design solutions
• Experience in designing high level and low-level documents is a plus
• Good understanding of SDLC is a pre-requisite Awareness of latest technologies and trends
• Logical thinking and problem-solving skills along with an ability to collaborate
