Job summary

Programmers.io is seeking a hands-on GCP AI and Analytics Architect to architect, build, and deliver agentic AI, automation, and analytics solutions on Google Cloud. This role spans solution design, implementation, tuning, and production deployment, working with clients and delivery teams to move solutions from PoC to production.

Qualifications

• 10+ to 14 years of professional experience, including substantial time in a cloud or solutions architect role.
• Strong command of the GCP integration stack (Apigee, Pub/Sub, managed Kafka, Cloud Workflows, Cloud Functions) to implement near-real-time replication pipelines and large-volume data flows.
• Ability to architect, stand up, tune, and troubleshoot GKE-based workloads and GCP networking.
• Familiarity with transportation, logistics, and supply chain workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end agentic AI, automation, and analytics solutions on Google Cloud.
• Build and tune agentic and traditional automation workflows on the GCP stack, including conversational and voice solutions.
• Integrate AI agents with client systems of record and back-office systems.
• Build near-real-time replication pipelines and high-volume data flows.
• Design and deliver analytics on BigQuery and Looker, including LookML modeling and dashboards.
• Stand up, tune, and troubleshoot GKE-based workloads and supporting GCP networking.
• Implement monitoring, observability, and guardrails for production workloads.
• Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, security, and cost-efficiency targets.
• Lead delivery and train client and internal teams for handoff and scale.
