Job summary

TeleMed2U is seeking an experienced gastroenterologist to deliver virtual patient care. The clinician will evaluate, diagnose, and manage adult GI patients via TeleMed2U’s telehealth platform, with opportunities to supervise APPs and work with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires an MD/DO, board certification in Gastroenterology, active CA and MN licenses, and DEA registration, with a focus on high-quality, patient-centered telemedicine services.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in CA & MN; multiple state licenses a plus.
• DEA license in good standing.
• Experience in APP supervision and telemedicine environments.
• Comfortable providing care in a telehealth environment.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual evaluations and follow-up visits for adult gastroenterology patients.
• Collaborate with gastroenterologists and care team for continuity of care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies as appropriate.
• Document encounters accurately in the EHR.
• Provide patient education on diagnoses, treatment options, and lifestyle changes.
• Maintain compliance with telehealth regulations and licensure requirements.
