Job summary

HCA is seeking candidates with accounting degrees and GASB compliance experience for a 100% remote consultant role. The position requires regular travel (50–70%) to client sites across Kansas, Missouri and other states, with Excel proficiency and willingness to work with MS Word.

Qualifications

• Accounting degree and GASB 34 compliance knowledge.
• Experience with GASB compliance and public accounting background is preferred.
• Proficiency in data collection, analysis and client interfacing.

Responsibilities

• Collect data and locate equipment at universities, colleges, and hospitals.
• Analyze data for project planning, execution and closure.
• Work with senior team members to solve client-specific challenges.
• Learn basic principles of commercial building construction.
• Use GASB 34 compliance knowledge to interpret data.
• Interface with clients via meeting or telephone to discuss project scope and findings.
