Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company seeks a Fossil Project Manager for a 1-year W-2 contract to lead engineering and construction activities on gas development projects. This remote role reports to the onsite manager and drives due diligence, scheduling, and cost control across multiple sites.

Responsibilities include coordinating SMEs, negotiating commercial terms, and supporting procurement with bid evaluations. 8+ years in energy project delivery and EPC/EPCM experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 8+ years in energy project development or large capital construction.
• Experience in EPC/EPCM project delivery and risk management.
• Experience with procurement, bid evaluation, and contracts.
• Experience with gas development across geographies and regulatory environments.
• Familiarity with MS Project or Primavera scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Lead E&C's participation in technology and commercial due diligence.
• Develop project schedule and cost benchmarking across gas projects.
• Coordinate SME resources for site configuration reviews and risk assessments.
• Negotiate offtake agreements and interconnection processes.
• Support procurement with RFQ input and bid evaluation.
• Lead cashflow modeling and risk-adjusted cost positioning for sanctions.
