Openkrill seeks a Gaming Video Editor (Narrative & Short-Form) to drive the storytelling engine of an offshore pod. You’ll cut episodic micro-dramas from in-engine gameplay across Roblox, Fortnite, GTA, and Minecraft, ensuring engaging arcs across episodes.

You’ll own pacing, sound design, and color grading, delivering polished cuts with strong narrative turns and cliffhangers while coordinating with Directors of Editorial. Remote work from the Philippines is offered.

Qualifications

• Gaming literacy with Roblox/Fortnite/GTA/Minecraft knowledge.
• Experience cutting serialized short-form drama or story-driven gaming content.
• Strong sense of pacing, music, and audio balance for tension.
• Fluent in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve; able to edit 4K multicam.
• Strong written English for clear feedback and notes.
• Owns a capable 4K editing setup with dual displays and reliable internet.

Responsabilités

• Edit 60-to-90-second vertical, serial micro-drama episodes from in-engine gameplay and creator footage.
• Manage end-to-end story edits, sound design, color grading, and on-screen graphics for episodic drops.
• Pace episodes to maximize viewer retention with cold opens, twists, and cliffhangers.
• Name assets, tag, file, and deliver cuts with concise notes for project taxonomy.
• Work across defined effort tiers, knowing when to polish vs. quick trim.
• Cover social, hype, or brand editing tasks for pod teammates during heavy production weeks.
