This role is fully remote and offers a pay range of $60-$80 per hour for a 6-month contract. You will leverage your expertise in game design to create engaging experiences aimed at motivation and player growth.

Ideal candidates will have over 5 years of relevant experience and a strong grasp of game mechanics and motivational strategies. You'll work collaboratively with diverse teams, ensuring alignment with health outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in game design, preferably in live service or progression-heavy products.
• Deep understanding of core game loops, progression systems, and motivational design.
• Demonstrated ability to design for both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of game systems that support long-term engagement, motivation, and player growth.
• Redesign the app's core progression system, integrating fitness goals, rewards, and achievement structures.
• Develop engaging game loops, daily and weekly rituals, and event-based content.
