Qualifikationen

• Gaddang and English fluency with cultural knowledge.
• Ability to assess regional and accent differences to communicate with LEP.
• Excellent listening, retention and note-taking for accurate interpretation.
• Must stay neutral and objective on calls, including sensitive topics.
• Experience in language-related fields preferred.
• Able to adapt to LanguageLine technology enhancements to improve service.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• No sponsorship required now or in the future; work authorization in the United States required.

• Respond promptly to interpreting sessions in a friendly, professional manner.
• Render correct concepts and meanings according to interpretation protocol.
• Speak clearly in both languages with proper pronunciation.
• Maintain a professional demeanor during sessions.
• Remain calm during interpreting sessions in emergencies like 911 calls.
• Maintain punctuality and availability during work hours.
• Follow client instructions to meet LEP needs and avoid unauthorized interaction.
• Understand protocols for Medical, Insurance, Finance and Law.
• Demonstrate commitment to cultural sensitivity in a diverse environment.
• Handle highly emotional or stressful calls; may have extended sessions without breaks.
