Job summary

Torrens University Australia is looking for a motivated Future Student Advisor – Schools to join our North Queensland Student Recruitment team. This remote-based role focuses on schools, career expos and information sessions to generate leads and support enrolments.

You will engage with career advisers, teachers, school leaders, students and families, managing a sales pipeline and collaborating with admissions and marketing to create a seamless student experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, business development, student recruitment or another target-driven role.
• Confidence building relationships with schools, stakeholders, students and families.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences.
• Proactive approach to generating leads, following up opportunities and achieving conversion targets.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Experience using CRM systems, ideally Salesforce, alongside intermediate to advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong school partnerships with career advisers, teachers and leaders.
• Represent Torrens University at school visits, expos, information sessions and events.
• Identify recruitment opportunities, nurture prospective students and convert enquiries into applications and enrolments.
• Maintain accurate school, lead and student records in Salesforce and monitor recruitment activity.
