Job summary

Beyond the Ballot is seeking a Fundraising Events Lead to plan, coordinate, and execute tiered fundraising events and time-bound campaigns. You will build and maintain a proactive calendar, create repeatable event playbooks, and drive recurring giving through strategic asks and donor follow-up.

You will manage logistics, track performance, and work with leadership to grow annual revenue. Remote work enables collaboration across time zones with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
• 2+ years of fundraising, event planning, campaigns, or nonprofit leadership experience.
• Experience planning and executing events (virtual and/or in-person) with revenue or participation goals.
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and managing timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a comprehensive fundraising calendar for 2026 and beyond.
• Plan and execute 3–4 major fundraising events annually plus smaller events as needed.
• Ensure events have host/venue concepts, dates, ticket/donation structures, and defined follow-ups.
• Execute post-event donor capture and optimization for recurring giving.
• Align event messaging, invitations, content, and donation links across channels.
• Maintain templates and run-of-show documents for repeatable success.
• Track metrics (attendance, revenue, costs, conversions) and suggest improvements.
• Provide regular fundraising progress updates to leadership.
• Develop donor prospect lists and assess giving capacity for current supporters.
