Job summary

10,000 Friends of Pennsylvania is seeking a Fundraising and Communications Manager to grow our donor base through corporate sponsorships, grants, and online engagement. This position reports to the Program Director and helps execute organizational fundraising, communications and marketing strategies aligned with housing, community development, and equitable mobility goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years nonprofit fundraising and/or communications experience.
• Proven track record of securing major gifts.
• Excellent writing and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Ability to adapt to changing timelines and priorities.
• Strategic thinking and risk awareness.
• Experience with Nationbuilder and Squarespace or similar CRM.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate donor relationships and secure funding for operations and programs.
• Develop fundraising pipeline for corporate sponsors, grants, and organizational donors.
• Identify grant opportunities and prepare proposals.
• Ensure timely stewardship and recognition of gifts.
• Lead communications and marketing strategies to boost engagement and conversions.
• Manage events related to fundraising and sponsorships.
• Oversee donor database and reporting of gifts and pledges.
• Coordinate compliance and reporting for grants and corporate giving.
