Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a dynamic Fundraising Communications & Enablement Director for a fully remote role across the USA. You will design and drive high-quality fundraising messaging, case development, and resources to advance regional and national initiatives and donor engagement.

You will lead a team, partner with senior leaders, and ensure consistent messaging while improving audience engagement and fundraising outcomes through strategic communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 5 years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop comprehensive communications plans for fundraising initiatives.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of communications professionals.
• Partner with senior executives to ensure consistent and effective messaging across initiatives.
• Utilize storytelling strategies to support and enhance fundraising efforts.
• Collaborate with national and regional marketing teams to develop and execute fundraising communications campaigns.
• Manage complex, large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
