Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of communications professionals.
• Partner with senior executives to ensure consistent messaging across initiatives.
• Utilize storytelling strategies to support fundraising efforts.
• Collaborate with national and regional marketing teams to develop and execute fundraising campaigns.
• Manage complex, large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders and priorities.
• Oversee content creation: talking points, messages, press releases, social posts, newsletters, FAQs, product sheets, and other materials.
• Lead external communications and public relations activities.
• Build relationships with internal and external partners.
• Ensure compliance with communications standards and reputation management practices.
• Develop and manage content for RedCross.org and social platforms.
• Support visibility and fundraising success through strategic communications.
