Job summary

American Red Cross is seeking a dynamic Fundraising Communications & Enablement Director. This fully remote role can be located anywhere in the USA, and will lead strategy, messaging, and materials to advance fundraising goals and donor engagement.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, 7+ years of related experience, 5 years in management, and strong storytelling, collaboration, and project management skills to drive impact across national and regional programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 7 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 years of management experience.
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop comprehensive communications plans for fundraising initiatives.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of communications professionals.
• Partner with senior executives to ensure consistent and effective messaging across initiatives.
• Utilize storytelling strategies to support and enhance fundraising efforts.
• Collaborate with national and regional marketing teams to develop and execute fundraising communications campaigns.
• Manage complex, large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
