Job summary

American Red Cross is seeking a Fundraising Communications & Enablement Director to lead strategic messaging and fundraising campaigns. This fully remote role can be located anywhere in the USA, supporting regional and national initiatives with cross-functional collaboration and executive partnership.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree, at least 7 years in fundraising communications and 5 years in management, and strong storytelling, project management, and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 5 years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop comprehensive communications plans for fundraising initiatives.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of communications professionals.
• Partner with senior executives to ensure consistent messaging across initiatives.
• Utilize storytelling strategies to support fundraising efforts.
• Collaborate with national and regional marketing teams to develop fundraising communications campaigns.
• Manage complex, large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
