Responsible for supervising a team to ensure that fundings are completed in accordance with all company standards. Responsible for maintaining and creating efficiencies for document, funding, and post-funding teams to meet or exceed service levels. Perform all duties in accordance with company policies, US state and federal laws, and regulations. The target pay range is $80,000 to $120,000.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise and manage team responsibilities, including hiring, training, performance monitoring, and discipline.
- Provide feedback and counseling to team members.
- Monitor staffing levels and workflow to meet service level agreements.
- Identify and implement workflow improvements.
- Ensure team meets turn times for disbursements, shipping, fundings, etc.
- Ensure team is trained and updated on policies and procedures.
- Act as liaison with internal staff, vendors, brokers, and others to resolve issues.
- Review loan conditions prior to funding and purchase.
- Develop solutions to streamline workflow.
- Collaborate with Post-Closing to resolve funding discrepancies.
- Maintain high standards of customer service.
- Handle confidential loan applicant information appropriately.
What You'll Need
- Knowledge of mortgage origination in wholesale lending.
- Understanding of RESPA regulations and TRID.
- Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
- Customer service orientation.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and explore solutions.
- Decision-making skills impacting department operations.
- Experience in managing work schedules and prioritization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and loan origination software.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in mortgage origination operations.
- 3+ years in loan closing and funding.
- Management experience preferred.
- Background in FHA & VA loans is a plus.
