Job summary

Mind Computing is seeking a full-time, 100% remote Functional Tester to support a Department of Veterans Affairs project. The ideal candidate will have experience in software testing and quality assurance, with responsibilities including executing test plans, validating application functionality, documenting defects, and supporting regression and user acceptance testing (UAT) in an Agile environment.

Candidates should have 4+ years of proven experience and be proficient with testing tools

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
4+ years of proven experience as a Functional Tester or similar role.
Proficiency in testing tools (Selenium, Jira, Jenkins), scripting languages (Java, Python), and SQL.
Hands-on experience with SAFe/Agile frameworks and practices.

Responsibilities

Develop test plans and test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications.
Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects and ensure quality.
Report bugs with detailed steps to reproduce and assist with fixes.
Conduct regression testing and support UAT in an Agile environment.
Perform performance testing and collaborate with the team to improve processes.
