Job summary

Northwestern Health Sciences University invites applications for a fully remote faculty position in Functional and Integrative Nutrition. The role focuses on educating, mentoring, and overseeing clinical experiences for DCN/MHS students, with strong emphasis on evidence-informed instruction and student success.

The incumbent will mentor students toward CNS credentials, supervise practice hours, and contribute to curriculum and accreditation efforts while fostering an inclusive learning

Qualifications

• Earned terminal degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• Demonstrated subject matter expertise in advanced clinical nutrition.
• Current, unrestricted professional licensure as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Teach graduate and doctoral courses in Functional & Integrative Nutrition online and in asynchronous/synchronous formats.
• Evaluate student performance with grading, feedback, and assessment of clinical reasoning.
• Advise and mentor students including degree planning and career guidance.
• Provide clinical mentorship by reviewing case studies and informing safe, evidence-based interventions.
• Develop and update course materials to align with accreditation standards and current research.
• Collaborate with faculty on curriculum development, assessment, and quality improvement.
• Participate in department, college, and university committees and initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
